Why choose between digital and traditional marketing?
Integrate your marketing between both digital and traditional marketing efforts. What is integrated marketing?
Integrated marketing is when you have a specific campaign that you use both print and digital marketing techniques to reach your target audience. Now more than ever you can integrate you marketing.
If you have a special deal, promotion, or event then just create graphics that can be used on both print and digital mediums. Update your website to add a popup, event page, or special product price. Then make the graphic you created the focal point of the new asset. You can create an email campaign promoting the campaign as well.
The key to integrating is to remember to add your website or landing page to your print materials that might be going out via mail or brochure. Make sure it's in a prominent place and easy for the reader to see so they can pull it up on their device. Then make sure that you create a website or landing page is mobile optimized and easy for the user to get to the call to action. And please make that call to action visible.
The very last part of integrating your marketing is to ensure you added the information to your social media channels. Whether that is a post or event, adding here can make sure your target audience sees it and get to the call to action. And, don't forget if you post on social media to tell the audience what you want them to do. Your call to action needs to be on the post or they just read the post and keep scrolling, right?!?
